I cannot recommend: "Restoring Vintage Cars: Restoration Guidelines from a Vintage Car Fanatic" at any level. This book was my first ever disappointment from Amazon books. After 30 minutes of examination, I requested a refund and quickly received it. Thank you, Amazon for such outstanding customer service.

I highly recommend two other books in this space, both from Amazon: "The Classic Chevy Truck Handbook" with 154 pages of solid technical information, and "How To Restore Your Chevrolet Pickup" with 222 pages of beginning-to-end advice on starting and finishing that vintage project you always wanted to tackle. While both of the recommended books are aimed at Chevy restoration, the advice within both will easily apply to Ford, Dodge, Jeep or other vintage truck projects. Do yourself an incredible favor and avoid "Restoring Vintage Cars." In my opinion, it is not a good value, does not contain comparable quantities of real information, and contains factual errors throughout.

I didn't know what I was doing or even where to start. This book was a great help for me to get me started. I highly recommend.
